Folksy shop and Facebook

Yes, believe it or not I’ve finally capitulated and am ‘doing’ Facebook having resisted for years ! My Facebook account is called Raggedy Annie (funnily enough !) and I will get a link sorted from my website when I can. That’s me ! And that’s why I haven’t posted for a couple of weeks – I have been in hospital having a total knee replacement. I wasn’t expecting it to be a walk in the park (if only I could !), but boy, has it been painful ! Anyway, I am now walking with two sticks

It’s been a while ….

…… since I last posted my blog, but I have been away on holiday for the first time in many years – not counting the course I went on earlier this year. I have just had a wonderful time in St Ives, Cornwall, visiting galleries, spending time sketching, going to the Lost Gardens of Heligan

Busy !

  I ran a new course day at the shop last month, ‘Space Dyed Threads’. We hand-dyed a wide assortment of threads and fabrics using Procion dyes and got some fabulous results. However, amongst all the jars of dye, cat litter trays of shaded fabric, and plastic bags of wet threads I forgot to take
