We had two full houses today at the Fabbadashery, morning and afternoon sittings ! I think Halifax is going rug crazy ! It was a lovely day though, spent with lovely people. Everyone managed to make a good start on their rugs, and went home eager to continue with their projects. Most people were recycling
I’m not sure whether he’s feeling remorseful, but it’s impossible to be cross with someone who looks this beautiful. RaggedyAnnie is feeling much better, just suffered a few puncture wounds, nothing a needle and thread can’t resolve!
There is a new man in my life who goes by the name of Frank. He is absolutely gorgeous and utterly adorable, but sadly he and RaggedyAnnie didn’t seem to hit it off straight away. She is currently undergoing counselling for post traumatic syndrome, but will hopefully be back on her feet in her sewing

Had another fab day at the Fabbadashery yesterday. Lots of fun rag rugging, chatting, drinking tea and eating cream cakes. What could be better ?!! Some lovely pieces of work started , including recycling baby clothes to make a rug with very special memories , a hanging using beautiful silk fabrics, a gold and rust
I have finally got my Folksy shop up and running – didn’t realise it would be quite so involved, but I think it looks good now it’s done. I have listed a number of items including rugs, kits, bags and corsages, and will regularly add to the items available. I am running 2 more rag rugging
